LytePype

The HawkEye 52 and HawkEye 53 feature the patented LytePype illumination system, and provide excellent DPM read performance with precise lighting angles. The LytePype guides the operator to position the reader for a simple, point-and-shoot operation. Both models read codes applied using a variety of DPM methods on a wide range of materials and surfaces.

High-Performance Hand-Held Direct Part Mark Reader The HawkEye 51T is a high-performance, high-resolution reader for low-contrast two dimensional (2-D) Data Matrix direct part marks (DPMs). It incorporates advanced video image processing and illumination technology to read symbols on a variety of surfaces that have been created by dot peen, laser, or inkjet. The HawkEye 51T excels at reading DPMs with cell sizes as small as 0.006 inches, and overall symbol size of up to one inch square.

The HawkEye 51T features the LytePypeTM illumination system that delivers superior performance for DPM reading and highly reliable read rates. The HawkEye 51T is a contact reader, and the LytePype guides the operator to position the reader for a simple point-and-shoot operation, and provides a greater fi eld of view to facilitate reading larger codes.

The HawkEye 51T provides a comprehensive set of programmable features that can be confi gured to address any data collection application. Setup is simple, and performed via the Graphical User Interface PC application program through the serial interface port or by reading special Data Matrix codes supplied with the unit.
