Microscan is pleased to announce the release of our latest UID product, the HawkEye 45T Portable Data Terminal.
The HawkEye 45T establishes a new benchmark for Portable Data Terminals and Hand Held Computers by combining the industry’s best imaging technology with a graphic display and rugged keyboard to create the smallest and lightest full-featured Data Matrix reading terminal on the market. The HE45T instantly reads large linear as well as high density matrix symbols utilizing Microscan’ unique DPM (Direct Part Mark) decoding algorithm, which continuously adapts the resolution, illumination, and image field for the fastest automatic symbology identification and decoding over the widest range of symbology types, sizes, recording surfaces and ambient lighting
The HE45T is also a Department of Defense Unique Identification (UID) string validator. This includes checking the string content against the appropriate controlling documents. Typical uses are incoming inspection of UID codes marked by suppliers. UID to Unique Item Identifier (UII) conversion functionality allows vendors to use the HE45T in UID logistics applications.

HawkEye 50 Turbo
The HawkEye 50T is a high-performance, high-resolution reader for low-contrast two dimensional (2-D) Data Matrix direct part marks (DPMs). It incorporates advanced video image processing and illumination technology to read symbols on a variety of surfaces that have been created by dot peen, laser, or inkjet.
The HawkEye 50T is designed to read DPMs with cell sizes as small as 0.004 inches, and an overall symbol size of up to one half inch square.
