HTE's Pillbox Barcode Verification Unit HTE’s Pillbox is used to verify 1D & 2D symbologies when the dimensions of the packages very. The unit is ideally suited for the pharmaceutical industry with the optional Stainless Steel NEMA 4 rated enclosure or as a mark development station when getting the correct mark is the number one priority. By placing the 1D or 2D barcode onto the viewing window, the camera will trigger to read and verify the mark quality. A stacklight prompts the operator with the result of each read without having to view the panel mounted PC. Coupling the camera’s verification with HTE’s Matrix Monitor which comes pre-installed on the system provides the operator feedback as to mark quality and the camera systems condition as well as logging all data. Matrix Monitor is a tool designed to reside at every mark station. It monitors and provides feedback on the many different mark quality parameters such as contrast, axial uniformity, error correction, and cell modulation.
